The
Gibson Tal Farlow is a highly distinctive archtop jazz guitar introduced in the early 1960s as part of Gibson's 'Artist Series.' Based on the full-body ES-350, it features unique modifications inspired by Farlow, such as a scroll on the lower cutaway and humbucking pickups replacing the earlier P-90s. Produced in Gibson's Kalamazoo factory, only 215 units were made between 1962 and 1967, making it a rare collector's item. The guitar's premium build includes a curly maple body, five-piece neck, and intricate inlays, showcasing both craftsmanship and Farlow's innovative influence.
This example is in pristine condition with only minor player wear and checking. It has also been professionally refretted, resulting in a guitar that plays super smooth and sounds incredibly warm thanks to its Nickel Pat. No. pickups.
