This 1950 Gibson SJ embodies the magic of a well-loved vintage Gibson, full of character and musical depth. It shows honest play wear throughout, with several professionally repaired cracks and a few components re-glued over the years, all done with care and attention to detail. A refret, neck reset, and bridge reglue ensure it plays effortlessly and will remain structurally sound for years to come. Modern Kluson tuners have been installed for stability, with the originals included in the case. Tonally, it’s rich, balanced, and remarkably responsive—offering the open, resonant sound that defines a great slope-shouldered Gibson. Comes in a modern hard shell case.
