The 1998 Gibson RB-75 JD Crowe Mastertone is a high-end, reissue-style bluegrass banjo modeled after the classic pre-war Gibson Mastertones. Designed in collaboration with legendary banjo player J.D. Crowe, it features a mahogany resonator, a slim-profile mahogany neck, and a rosewood fretboard. The powerful tone comes from its traditional Mastertone-style tone ring and one-piece flange, delivering rich, crisp projection with excellent note separation. With vintage-inspired aesthetics and top-tier craftsmanship, this RB-75 is a sought-after choice for serious bluegrass players. Includes a hardshell case.
