Notes: Plays great, buzzes within reason and doesn't fret out anywhere.
In the early 1940's, during World War II, Gibson introduced the LGs, a series of student model guitars. This particular model, the LG-2, was the first model of the company's LG series. The x-bracing and wood of the LG-2 ultimately lives up to the nickname "Little Giant," as it produces a full-bodied and well-balanced tone. This example has a number of repairs from a restoration last year. The previous work is very apparent and very stable. Seven mahogany diamonds can be seen inside the guitar to stabilize long back cracks. It plays very comfortably and has that classic Gibson sound!
Comes with black tolex hard case.
