The Gibson LG-2 is a staple for songwriters, folk singers, and guitarists across various genres. Known for its distinct woody sound that delivers the classic Gibson tone, the LG-2 excels as both a cozy couch guitar and a reliable stage instrument. This particular model has undergone several repairs to maintain its excellent playing condition, including a bridge reglue, reglue of multiple braces (some crudely done in the past), and reseat of some spruce under the bridge with associated finish touchup. The finish is chipping in random areas of the sides and heel; but it has been lightly sprayed to relax the lacquer and readhere. A lovely period rose waterslide decal adorns the upper bass shoulder. Set up with medium action with saddle height to go lower, this guitar offers a smooth playing experience and produces a warm, open tone.Comes in TKL Tweed Hardshell Case
