Boxy blues machines, vintage Gibson LG-1s offer incredible value in a very comfortable size. The classic wood formula of quality: solid sitka spruce top, solid mahogany back and sides, mahogany neck and brazilian rosewood board and bridge. Despite being made along side higher end models, what kept LG-1s affordable was the ladder brace construction, unlike its pricier X-braced LG-2 and LG-3 brothers. This example is in exceptionally clean condition with only a bridge and saddle change, pickup jack hole, bridge reglue, and crack glue up from celluloid pickguard shrinkage, this 65 yr-old Gibson has a lot of life left in it... and songs to be written on it!
