The 1963 Gibson LG-0 is a small-bodied, ladder-braced acoustic guitar known for its warm, woody tone and straightforward design. Featuring an all-mahogany construction with a natural satin finish, it delivers a dry, punchy sound ideal for blues and folk players. The mahogany neck has a comfortable medium profile, paired with a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard. Originally designed as a student model, the LG-0 has gained appreciation for its vintage charm, responsive feel, and understated aesthetic. Many examples from this era retain their original plastic bridge, though this example has been upgraded for improved playability. Check out the Specs tab for the full repair history. Comes with the original alligator chipboard case.
