Description
This is one of the cleanest Les Paul Specials we've seen in quite some time! And at a staggeringly light and balanced 7.2lbs, it is extremely comfortable to play. The neck starts at a classic slight V shape at the first position (a welcome remnant of the '57 specs), adding shoulder and rounding out to a C profile at the 12th fret. The electronics and pickups are all untouched and exemplify the P-90 sound with a bridge pickup that tears through your speakers with high powered tele-esque clarity, and a very sweet and articulate neck pickup delivering dulcet tones. The original frets still have life left in them and there's just ever so slight nail wear on the fretboard in the cowboy chord position. It plays like a dream and you'd be hard pressed to find a better example.
Includes its original Lifton hard case.
