Description

The 1979 25/50 Anniversary Les Paul line was made to celebrate both the twenty fifth anniversary of the Les Paul guitar as well as the fiftieth anniversary of Les Paul's music career. To commemorate this joint occasion, Gibson designed this anniversary model to have some of the finest qualities of a Les Paul in a modern model. The features included a brass nut, TP-6 fine tuning tail piece, Coil Tap switch, and chrome and gold combined hardware to name a few. This particular 25/50 shows desirable signs of vintage ware while structurally holding in fantastic condition. The pickups sound clear and playful with a D shaped neck designed for optimal performance. This guitar comes with its original 1979 chain saw style hard shell case.
