Introduced in 1933 for the "Century of Progress" Exposition in Chicago, the Gibson L-C takes its name from the event and was produced from 1932 to 1941. The L-C builds off Gibson's L-00, but with some striking upgrades, most notably the pearloid fretboard and headstock. This guitar has had the fretboard replaced, changing from the pearloid to a traditional-style Brazilian Rosewood.
There is a bass side headstock repair, 2 back cracks repaired, previous bridge plate repair, and a cracked brace repair. Despite the repairs and modifications, this guitar sounds fantastic, just as you'd except from a golden era Gibson acoustic. Includes original case.
