Description

This rare 1968 L-5 CN carries the poise of a late-’60s Gibson archtop with a set of practical updates. Pieces of the hardware have been replaced - non-original floating pickup, pickguard, and electronics. Additionally there’s a binding repair along the bottom edge of the fingerboard and a replacement nut. It's in excellent cosmetic condition with some light player wear, a little hardware patina and a few finish dings. Altogether, it’s a clean, seasoned L-5 with a mix of original character and mindful modifications.
