Description

This 1921 Gibson L-1 features a carved spruce top and maple back and sides, delivering the compact, lightly built character expected from early L-series guitars. The short 24" scale mahogany neck carries a rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlays, and the original three-on-a-strip tuners remain intact. The ladder-braced top give it a focused, direct response with quick decay and a dry midrange voice. The transparent dark brown finish shows honest age, with typical checking and handling wear throughout.
