The Gibson L-00 is iconic in the world of blues, folk and a favorite of singer songwriters everywhere. This particular 00 has a beautiful round tone to it that is buried behind a comforting volume and clarity from the 80 year old mahogany. The Firestripe pickguard is perfect on this guitar and nods to the era of production. Gibsons of this caliber have the magic we all need in a guitar. This instrument has a repaired crack, and replaced tuner buttons among other small repairs. The lack of thorough replacements means this guitar is living and breathing nearly the exact way it was back in 1941. Decades of care and playing have formed this into a powerhouse.
