Built during the height of the Great Depression, this 1937 Gibson L-00 has survived multiple wars and been cherished by several generations. Each blemish on its body tells a story from its 90-year journey in the United States. Recently restored to playing condition, it received a neck reset, refret, new bridge, saddle, bridge pins, and nut, as well as a finish touch-up, overspray, and repairs to two back cracks. The addition of a bridge pin retainer completes its revival. What can't be said about these historical artifacts impact on blues and folk music? This pre-war Gibson guitar sounds as remarkable as it looks.
