Description

This 1940 Gibson L-0 is an exceptional instrument with a recent refinish providing a stark black look. It's undergone thoughtful repairs to keep it playing super smooth, including a refret, neck reset, bridge reglue and an installation of a new saddle and pins. Additionally two back cracks have been repaired. The refinish is already showing some checking giving it a more age appropriate vibe.

Sonically, this guitar is a perfect specimen of smaller body Gibson tone: boxy, warm and clear. Perfect for the studio or songwriter session.
