The 1966 Gibson Hummingbird is a classic square-shoulder dreadnought known for its warm, balanced tone and striking aesthetics. Featuring a Sitka spruce top with mahogany back and sides, it delivers rich lows and clear highs, making it a favorite for both strumming and fingerpicking. The iconic cherry sunburst finish, ornate pickguard with hummingbird motif, and parallelogram inlays add to its vintage appeal. With its slimmer 1 9/16" nut width, this mid-'60s model offers a fast-playing neck, while its adjustable rosewood bridge and gold Kluson tuners maintain the signature Gibson character.
