Introduced in the 1970s alongside its counterpart, the Ripper, the Grabber was one of several solidbody basses offered by Gibson. With its large Maple body reminiscent of guitars like the L6-S, this 1981 Grabber is crafted with a mahogany body and maple neck, equipped with a single movable pickup, providing a versatile array of tonal possibilities. Despite showing signs of wear, including scratches, nicks, and some cracks in the pickguard, this instrument preserves all of its original components and delivers excellent playability with medium action.
