Sporting a spruce top, maple back and sides, ivoroid binding all around, and the torch inlay, this 1922 Gibson F-4 mandolin is a great example of their work in the early 20th century! The oval hole design ensures a big, resonant bass to underpin the sweet highs. This mandolin is in excellent condition for its age, with only minor dings. It remains all original with the exception of a refret and a new nut. This is a wonderful sounding and playing example!
