The Gibson ES-5 was introduced as the flagship of the brand’s electric archtops, known for its striking flamed maple laminate body, gold hardware, block inlays, and distinctive trio of P-90 pickups. This example is in excellent playing condition and features a beautifully figured top with a vibrant sunburst finish. A few minor changes have been made over the years—see the Specs tab for details. Tonally, it covers a wide range, from biting blues and rock to warm, articulate jazz. The out-of-phase bridge pickup adds a uniquely expressive voice, famously associated with T-Bone Walker. Includes a new Epiphone hardshell case.

*When using Affirm, we charge an additional 3.5% fee on the total at checkout. The majority of our instruments are consignment, where CVG keeps a small percentage of each sale. To be able to cover the additional costs required to offer financing, we have to include a higher fee to the customer. The 3.5% fee will be included in and spread across your Affirm payments.
