It's safe to say that Gibson changed the world of electric guitar design with the introduction of the ES-335 in 1958, and this example from 1960 sports many of the most desirable specs and features in guitar collecting. The original PAFs - a double black in the neck and a zebra in the bridge - are present and strong, offering up the warm, articulate tones that pickups from this era are known for. The slim-tapered neck is of a quintessentially 1960 shape and offers effortless playing up and down the neck. Coming from the original family, a replaced 17th fret marker, replaced switch tip and tuning buttons (originals included) are the only departures from stock, both done with care and intention. Otherwise entirely original and in stunning condition, this 335 is solid example from the golden era of Gibson semi-hollows. Includes original brown stone hard case.
