The hollow body Gibson ES-175 is a jazz icon, and here we have a dual pickup ES-175D for even more tonal options! This 1967 sunburst model has been with its owner since the mid-80s, well cared for and maintained over the years.
This guitar has had a refret (very well done), the neck was long ago shimmed due to some separation (we could find no evidence of a break) and there's a small but stable 1cm crack on the body under the neck heel. Notably, too, the bridge pickup cover has been replaced but the pickup itself is original/untouched. The finish appears to be original, and has some scattered checking and dings to be expected for its age. The guitar was also assessed as being in excellent, mostly original condition by Joseph Vinikow of Archtop.com in 2018. The seller replaced the original case with newer, more protective hardshell case.
