With it's release in 1953, the ES-175 D added a new element to the jazz scene. The added tonal selection to the popular model brought it to a new dimension and set it up for success when introduced to PAF pickups in 1957. This 175 is in phenomenal shape and sounds like ES-175 perfection. The original P90's compliment the guitar incredibly well and offer a natural compression that suits the maple construction very well. The only damage to the guitar is a bent G tuner. It still shows its original retail store sticker on the back of the headstock, referencing Parker Music Co in Houston Texas. This guitar transcends the level we all associate with great guitars. It is all original and in beautiful condition, but more importantly it plays and sounds inspiring. Fit for a collector or an avid jazz player, this ES-175 D is a wonderful instrument with the impressive add-on of a Bigsby not found on many other examples.
