With a fully hollow body and sharp Florentine cutaway, the Gibson ES-175 has been a favorite of jazz players since its introduction in 1949 and it has also been embraced by rock players such as Yes' Steve Howe, who has a signature model. This beautiful sunburst finished ES-175 was made in 1958, the year after Gibson acquired the Epiphone company, and it came from the Gibson factory with the elegant Epiphone "Kolb" tuners, featuring the stylized Epiphone "E" on the back. This guitar is in great playable and original condition with some finish checking, light wear, and a repaired treble side waist crack. It's housing its original PAF pickup and sounds phenomenal! Includes a vintage chipboard case.
