Sitka SpruceThis 1966 Gibson Dove in Natural has undergone a number of significant, formative repairs that have kept it structurally sound and musically reliable. It’s had a neck reset, refret, and the original ABR-1 bridge has been replaced with a fixed saddle. A soundhole pickup with controls was once installed and later removed, with the holes cleanly plugged, and an undersaddle pickup has since been added. The original pickguard has been replaced, complementing the guitar’s well-worn aesthetic. Though far from original, it remains a strong, character-rich example of a mid-’60s Dove that’s still very much in its prime as a player. Comes with a HSC.
