Description

This 2024 Gibson Custom Shop R9 Les Paul brings the familiar late-’50s Burst formula to life with a classic Sunburst finish and carefully executed vintage-inspired details. The carved maple top sits over a solid mahogany body, while the mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard give the guitar the substantial feel associated with the R9 designation. A pair of Custombucker pickups deliver a clear, dynamic response with plenty of range between the bridge and neck positions. The overall package stays close to the original ’59 specifications while incorporating the fit, finish, and consistency expected from Gibson Custom Shop production.
