Description

Breaking away from the familiar tuxedo uniform of the Les Paul Custom, this Gibson Custom 1968 model arrives in an elegant Argentine Grey. Every detail reflects a reverence for vintage craftsmanship, from the comfortably rounded ’68-style mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard to the refined multi-ply binding and classic Custom appointments. The lightly aged nitrocellulose lacquer, treated through the Murphy Lab, adds the character of decades without sacrificing refinement. A long neck tenon and carefully selected woods create a lively, sustaining response, while a matched set of ’68 Custom humbuckers captures the articulate bite, warmth, and authority associated with late-’60s Les Pauls. Outfitted with gold hardware, Waffleback tuners, an aluminum stop tailpiece, witch hat knobs, and mother-of-pearl block inlays, this guitar delivers vintage attitude, powerful tone, and unmistakable presence the moment it leaves the case.
