Modifications/RepairsRefinish (likely late 60s or 70s) with various finish-touchups around bridge and pickguard, Late 60s Retop, Adjustable Converted Oversized Bridge, ply bridge plate with maple plugs and cap, bone nut, replacement truss rod cover, strap button, reglued top crack near treble waist, X-Brace reglued, double pickguards added
For the gigging country music star on the rise, this 1957 Gibson CW with later factory work is priced fairly enough to keep it on the stage. The iconic double pickguard look and light sunburst finish came to this guitar in the late 1960s/early 1970s during a retop, but the lightweight bracing of this era keeps it sounding fantastic. The adjustable bridge was plugged and reslotted for a solid bone saddle, helping with the overall resonance. This one has the look, a great neck shape, and the reliably versatile sound that slope shouldered Gibsons are known for.

Comes in 1970s HSC
