Gibson 50th Anniversary DaPra 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue 2009, Bourbon Burst

If the name Vic DaPra sounds familiar, it’s because of his deep impact on the legacy of the Les Paul. As the author of Burst Believers and widely regarded as the world’s foremost expert on Les Paul Bursts, DaPra has also partnered with the Gibson Custom Shop to produce highly regarded limited runs of Burst-style Les Pauls. This 2009 example is a particularly strong one. It’s in very good condition overall, with honest playwear that reflects regular use. There is some buckle rash on the back and a couple of dings on the neck. The pickups have been replaced with unbranded PAF-style pickups, and the strap buttons have also been replaced. The guitar comes with the original hard case and certificate of authenticity.
