Nick Kukich, the luthier behind Franklin Guitars, has been crafting his own handmade guitars in the Martin style for five decades. In the 1970s he was one of the first luthiers reviving the pre-war OM, and here we have one from 1981. Simply put, it is a joy to play this fabulous sounding guitar. It truly represents the best elements of both the OM design and Brazilian rosewood. For lead playing and strumming, it has a big dynamic range and can be driven hard, and it takes to drop tunings like a dream. Despite a replaced nut and a repaired center seam top crack, this guitar is in excellent condition, showing moderate signs of wear. Comes with a non-original hardshell case.
