Description

This 1982 Franklin Guitar Co. OM features koa back and sides paired with a natural top, showing light wear consistent with its age but remaining in overall great condition. The koa imparts a soft, yet focused tone—subtle in response but with a strong fundamental and clear note separation. It has a distinctive voice that rewards a lighter touch while still holding up well under a more assertive attack. A center seam crack on the top has been professionally glued and is stable. Built by master luthier Nick Kukich, this OM reflects the thoughtful craftsmanship and tonal clarity Franklin guitars are known for. A compelling vintage example from one of the more respected small-shop builders of the era. Comes with a HSC.
