This 1969 Fender Thinline Telecaster is a lightweight, resonant example of Fender’s first semi-hollow Tele design, with a nicely aged natural finish and maple neck. It’s in very good condition overall, with a few repairs and modifications including a rewound neck pickup, replaced volume pot, and an upgraded ground wire from switch to pot. The original frets show minimal wear, and the hardware has light patina. There's a small crack in the pickguard by the tone knob and light wear and checking throughout the finish. It plays effortlessly and delivers that warm, articulate Thinline sound these early models are loved for.
Includes vintage Fender hardshell case.
