Modifications/RepairsGuitar has been oversprayed. Body cracked and repaired in three places on bottom. Output jack cup replaced with modern replacement.

If only the modern day guitar manufacturers could consistantly make necks as perfect as Tadeo Gomez did back in the day at Fender. The man was a genius. This 1953 Fender Telecaster features a classic "TG" shaped neck with a guitar that has vibe and patina for days. Lightweight at 7.2 pounds. The guitar plays great and the original pickups sound killer. The guitar was lightly oversprayed, with clear lacquer, years ago. It comes with a Fender tweed reissue thermometer case.

Neck date: "TG 4-15 (or 18)-53." Body date: "Eddie 3-10-53." Tape inside control cavity: "Gloria 4/20/53." Pots: V = "140148"... Clarostat pots from the 48th week of 1951.
