This 1952 Fender Telecaster has seen its fair share of modification over the years, with a body refinish being the most notable on first glance. The body is marked “Tadeo 12-4-52,” a sign of legendary Tadeo Gomez, while the neck bears a “D” stamp with no visible date. Both the body and neck have been refinished, and the logo has been replaced. Under the hood, the guitar has a replaced bridge pickup, a rewound neck pickup, and updated pots. Structural work includes a repaired humbucker route in the neck position and a reglued treble-side neck pocket. A refret and new nut ensure smooth playability, complemented by replaced saddles and a repro pickguard. With its blend of original lineage and thoughtful restoration, this Tele remains a strong example of Fender’s earliest craftsmanship.
Includes modern G&G hard shell case.
