Description

This amp was built during the final year of the Blackface era and carries all the benefits that come with it. Fortunately, this Super still has its original CTS alnico speakers—rare to find intact, since many have blown and been replaced over the years. It has accumulated some light wear, and it still looks very good for it's age.

Internally, the power cord and electrolytic caps have been replaced. A couple of cathode resistors have also been swapped, but the preamp remains otherwise original. All of the original Blue Molded Ajax coupling caps are still present, keeping the Blackface tone well intact. See circuit pictures for details.
