A true piece of Fender history! This Strat from 1954 is one of the first 100 ever made! These early models had a tremolo cover that had the serial number stamped into them and had circular string holes compared to the oval holes found on later models.  Excluding a refinish, refret, and small repaired headstock crack, this beautiful '54 is completely stock with the original, pickups, pots, frets, and hardware. The original pickups, which use alnico 3 magnets, are bright and crisp and the guitar plays excellently! Includes the original hard shell case.
