The Fender Mustang Bass continues to be an incredible influence on bass playing. As a frontrunner in the world of short scale basses, the Mustang is a beginners bass that has worked itself into the electric bass market as a preferred model for many musicians. The easy playing and convenient size make it an ideal touring guitar without sacrificing any sonic capabilities. This example from the late 60's has a slab board which makes it a bit more desirable. A previous owner already took advantage of that by refretting the guitar and planing the board to a 12" radius. The nut is also a replacement, but otherwise the guitar is in its original Olympic White finish.
Comes with the original gray Fender hardshell case
