Description

This 2013 Fender MIJ Thinline Telecaster takes the classic formula and stirs the pot just enough to keep things interesting. It’s loaded with a humbucker in the neck, a Tele neck pickup in the middle, and your standard Tele bridge pickup—all wired up with a 5-way switch that gives you a few extra shades to play with. The semi-hollow body keeps things light and snappy, and the sunburst finish has held up beautifully, with just a few signs it’s been out of the house. The neck feels fast and familiar, and the whole setup has a nice balance between twang and warmth, depending on where you park the switch. A clever spin on a classic that still knows where it came from.
