A beautiful pre-CBS sunburst Jaguar with original finish. Through the mix of its floating tremolo system, 24” short scale neck, two original Jaguar single-coil pickups, and its iconic dual-circuitry, this model is equipped with all of the iconic offset solid body tones. Its distinctive Rhythm and Lead circuits produce the signature “Jangle” that these guitars are known for.
This example features its original pickups with all original electronics. The frets have minimal divots in them and it has only very light signs of wear with a few finish imperfections on the body - all just adding to the beauty and mojo of the guitar. There apparently was once a body guard installed on it, which had black foam on it that looks to have needed some light scratching to remove it. It plays wonderfully with all the resonance and feel you'd expect out of a golden era Fender.
Includes its original hard brown Tolex case, vintage leather strap and McMurray Music dealer tag/plate from St. Louis where it was originally purchased.
