Description

The 5E3 Tweed Deluxe is the quintessential embodiment of 1950s-era Fender tone. Many builders have tried to reproduce this design over the years, but none truly capture the magic like the original amps with Triad transformers. The speaker (1951 Jensen P12Q) is an earlier version of what would have been stock, maintaining the amp’s authentic vintage character. It shows moderate to heavy signs of use, which seemingly adds to the charm of Tweed amps.

This amp has been serviced for modern use, with a replaced power cord, new electrolytic caps, and three changed coupling caps. The handle has also been changed. All of the original carbon comp resistors remain. See circuit pictures for further details.
