Description

This 1970s Tele Custom Heavy Relic delivers classic mid-’70s Fender attitude with a convincingly worn-in feel. Finished in Aged Target 3-Tone Sunburst, the Heavy Relic lacquer shows deep wear and patina throughout, giving it the look of a guitar that’s lived a long, hard-working life. The 2-piece select ash body keeps the response punchy and articulate, while the black 3-ply pickguard anchors the unmistakable Tele Custom aesthetic.

The quartersawn maple neck features a 1965 Strat-style “C” profile that feels familiar and balanced in the hand, paired with a vintage compound 7.25"–9.5" radius for smooth playability. The combination of a Custom Shop hand-wound Twisted Tele bridge pickup and a Wide-Range CuNiFe humbucker in the neck delivers a wide tonal spread—from crisp, cutting Tele bite to thick, warm neck tones—wired with ’72 Tele Custom wiring for straightforward versatility. A confident, character-rich take on a true ’70s classic. Comes with Deluxe Hardshell Case, strap, and Certificate of Authenticity.
