As part of Fender's Custom Shop series, this model is meticulously built to replicate the look and feel of a 1967 Stratocaster that has seen decades of use. The "Heavy Relic" treatment involves artificially aging the guitar to give it the appearance of heavy wear, including a well-worn finish, dings, scratches, and an oxidized hardware look. It typically features period-correct specifications like a select alder body, a maple neck with a round-laminated rosewood fingerboard, and vintage-style frets. Aside from aesthetics you can expect a higher level of quality from items given the custom shop treatment, along with an added bit of nuance to the sound and style. The action is sitting at a medium spot, and feels great to play, without any notes bottoming out. It also comes with the original hard case and Custom Shop COA.

*When using Affirm, we charge an additional 3.5% fee on the total at checkout. The majority of our instruments are consignment, where CVG keeps a small percentage of each sale. To be able to cover the additional costs required to offer financing, we have to include a higher fee to the customer. The 3.5% fee will be included in and spread across your Affirm payments.
