When the term "electric guitar" comes to mind, most people's first image is the Fender Stratocaster silhouette. An icon in form and recording accolades, the Strat model stands as a versatile favorite of Hendrix, Stevie, Clapton, Mayer and Gilmour. This 2013 '56 reissue model is representative of what would have been a very unique/desirable finish and hardware combo. This is essentially a Mary Kay with nickel hardware. The translucent blonde finish over ash was typically a Tele choice of the time, but is very flattering in all models because of the maple neck. Internally, this guitar has had a pickup swap to Rocketfire '54s, but the originals are in the case. It's a very clean guitar with its original tweed case.
