This 2008 Ernie Ball Music Man Albert Lee Hardtail pairs one of the company’s most distinctive body shapes with a practical specification. It features a lightweight body, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, and a trio of Music Man single-coil pickups controlled by a five-way selector. The hardtail bridge adds a direct, responsive feel and contributes to the model’s clean, uncluttered design.

Developed in collaboration with Albert Lee, the model departed from many familiar guitar design conventions while retaining a strong focus on comfort and functionality. Its offset silhouette and compact proportions helped it stand apart from other production guitars of the era.
