This is a rarely seen Zephyr Emperor Regent with a notable previous owner - Jimmy Vavino! Who is known for his career as musical director for Conan O'Brien as well as having produced, lead bands, and recorded with a countless number rock and roll and blues artists for five decades including the likes of Hubert Sumlin, Warren Haynes, Bob Weir, Keith Richards, and Elvis Costello, to name a few.

The guitar itself is a piece of history, being Epiphone's top of the line arch top meant to compete with Gibson at the time, and that it does! It has a replaced pickguard, and bridge with a couple binding repairs but retains its original New York pickups that have a very articulate and full sound with Epiphone's original Varitone push button pickup selector system as well. It plays excellently with comfortable action on its original frets and is just a beauty to look at and play.

Includes its original hard shell case.
