The Epiphone Supernova was developed in collaboration with Noel Gallagher during the height of Britpop, bringing his signature style to a semi-hollow design based on the Sheraton platform. This 1997 example, finished in Dark Red Wine, comes from the model's original production run and features the distinctive appointments that separate it from a standard Sheraton, including the signature truss rod cover. Its laminated maple construction, set neck, and dual humbuckers provide the familiar feel and response of a classic semi-hollow, while the signature details give it a personality of its own. Produced during a period when Oasis was at the forefront of British rock, the Supernova has become one of Epiphone's more recognizable artist models. Cosmetically, it remains in very good condition with some light finish swirling and wear to note.
