This 1964 Epiphone Wilshire is finished in Cherry and represents one of the company's most interesting solidbody designs from the Kalamazoo era. Its lightweight, symmetrical double-cut body and dual humbucker configuration give it a lively, responsive character with plenty of tonal range. This example has seen a headstock break repair, replacement Patent No. sticker pickups installed, replacement saddles, a refret, a filled hole on the back of the headstock, an added strap button, and an additional hole drilled above the bass side of the bridge, while the original tremolo arm is not included. The work reflects an instrument that has remained in use over the years, preserving the appeal of a vintage Wilshire with the unmistakable style that helped Epiphone carve out its own place during the 1960s.

Includes modern hard shell case.
