This is a great example of a late-’50s Epiphone Texan with early Kalamazoo features. 1958 was an early year for the Kalamazoo factory, and they were still using some New York–made necks on these guitars (such as the case with this guitar). Though it shows wear and has had a few typical repairs, it remains in excellent structural condition and plays very well. The tone is what you’d hope for from a ’50s Kalamazoo-built dreadnought: airy, warm, and responsive. Includes a hard shell case.
