Over the years, the Epiphone Coronet evolved into a thinner-bodied guitar with a distinctive batwing headstock and 6-on-a-side tuners, offering a unique alternative to the LP Junior. This particular example is a true gem, featuring an original P90 pickup that delivers killer tone and just the right amount of wear to show it’s been loved.
A strap button was added to the bass-side horn, and the bridge has been replaced, but the original bridge is included in the case. Otherwise, this guitar remains in excellent, mostly original condition. While the Coronet was originally a more affordable option compared to the Les Paul Junior, it has more than earned its place as a classic in its own right, holding up beautifully over the decades.
Now approaching 60 years old, this guitar is in fantastic shape and plays like a dream. Includes a non-original hardshell case for safe travels.
