Doolittle 00-28 1978, Natural

This 1978 Doolittle 00-28 in Natural is a special little guitar with a warm, intimate voice and a wonderful played-in feel. The smaller 00 body is comfortable and inviting, with a balanced tone that makes it especially enjoyable for fingerpicking, songwriting, and relaxed playing. Over the years it has had a replaced bridge and saddle, neck reset, refret, binding repair on the lower bout treble side, and a maple plate added to the original rosewood bridge plate. It has also had a nut shim, CVG setup, and an overspray on the top. There are dings, scratches, and belt buckle wear throughout, along with light scratches on the headstock. It has clearly been played and cared for, and all of that history gives it a unique personality and a beautifully seasoned character.
