Don Grosh’s 30th Anniversary SuperJet brings together the refined construction of his custom instruments with a versatile three-pickup layout. This 2024 example pairs a Mahogany body with a Flame Maple top, finished in Sunburst, while a 5A Roasted Flame Maple neck and Madagascar Rosewood fingerboard add a striking combination of woods. The Medium Roundback profile has a comfortable, substantial feel, and the pickup configuration combines 60s Fat + pickups in the neck and middle positions with a covered Blown 79 humbucker at the bridge. Locking Kluson tuners and carefully selected hardware round out the build, while the 7.6-pound weight keeps it comfortable to play.
